Australian mutual RACV has established Melbourne Bike Share on behalf of the Victorian Government and supported by Bicycle Victoria and the City of Melbourne. Bike Share stations will be located throughout the Central Business District of Melbourne - initially 10 and eventually 50. The goal is to extend public transport options by providing bicycles that can be shared between users. You pick up and leave bikes at the docking stations. For every trip, the first 30 minutes are free. More information here.
