New Food Co-operative

A new food co-operative has been established on the Yorke Peninsula in SA - the Wallaroo Food Co-op.

The Wallaroo Food Co-op is a joint initiative of the Northern Yorke Peninsula Community Health Services, Uniting Care Copper Coast and the District Council of the Copper Coast.

The co-op will be a grocery outlet run by voluntary labor. The co-operative will buy in bulk and re-package food into snaller quantities.

The Wallaroo Food Co-op will be located in the Uniting Care Co-op Shop at 4 Emu Street, Wallaroo.
