50 Years of Genetic Improvement

Genetics Australia is celebrating 50 years of genetic improvement. Genetics Australia supplies 60% of Australia's artificial breeeding needs.

The co-operative was formed in 1958 as the VAB Co-operative.

The co-operative is Australia's leader in dairy and beef genetic improvement.

Genetics Australia owns a herd of 650 bulls and its activities are conducted from four properties with a total of 750 hectares.

The co-operative has a celebratory of its history and achievements video on its site which can be played from the site or downloaded - 50 Years of Genetics Australia.
