The West Turk Housing and Elderly Services Co-operative was established in December 1986 by local Turkish residents of St. Albans to provide affordable housing for low income families from a Turkish background.
The co-operative manages 27 three-bedroom houses and four two bedroom units in the St Albans area.
The co-operative was registered on 17 April 2009.
The West Turk Housing and Elderly Services Co-operative is the sixth co-operative to be registered as a housing provider:

- Northern geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd
- SouthEast Housing Co-operative Ltd
- Sunshine/st Albans Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd
In addition, Common Equity Housing Ltd is registered as a housing association. While not a co-operative, CEHL has approximately 1700 properties throughout Victoria primarily managed by co-operatives of between 10 and 25 households.
