The co-operative CBH Group has announced its estimated pool returns. Read the CBH Group news release.

The CBH Group has announced its estimated pool returns for growers delivering to the CBH Group Wheat Pool this harvest.

Last week, the Wheat Export Authority (WEA) and the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Hon Peter McGauran MP announced the granting of a 500,000 tonne wheat export licence to the CBH Group.

Josh Roberts, Senior Trading Manager said the CBH Group Wheat Pool is open to all Western Australian growers.

“The Pool will accept all grades of wheat. However, the licence application is for APW, AH and ASW varieties only and benefits from the licence application will apply to these grades.

“A condition of the granted licence also requires a $4 per tonne levy on any tonnes exported to be paid to the AWB National Pool and this is reflected in the published pool returns.

“Final pool returns will be dependent on total volume received into the pool.”

Mr Roberts said there was still a large proportion of wheat currently in warehousing and growers are encouraged to transfer their grain before the guaranteed access deadlines for the CBH Group Wheat Pool.

“Guaranteed access for growers in the Geraldton zone closed on 29 December. However, growers in the Kwinana, Albany and Esperance zones still have guaranteed access to the CBH Group Wheat Pool until 5 January (Kwinana zone) and 12 January (Albany and Esperance zones).

“Wheat must be transferred from warehousing to the CBH Group Wheat Pool by these dates to be registered in the Pool.

“Growers can warehouse their wheat to the CBH Group Wheat Pool by nominating CBH Group or AgraCorp as the acquirer.

“Warehouse transfers can be made online by visiting the LoadNet website at www.loadnet.com.au or manually by completing a Warehousing/Suspense Load Transfer form which is available from LoadNet, the Grain Operations website or any CBH Group Receival Point or District Office.”

For more information, growers can contact their local Regional Manager or Grower Services on 1800 199 083 or visit the CBH Group website at www.cbh.com.au .
