The Co-operative Council of Australia held a teleconference on Monday 4 February 2008 - Co-operative Federation of New South Wales Ltd, Co-operative Federation of Queensland Ltd, Co-operative Federation of South Australia Ltd, the Co-operative Federation of Victoria Ltd and Co-operativesWA,

Issues discussed included ICA Membership, co-operative legislation in WA and other states, the retail co-operative workshop, the Co-operative College Manchester UK, demutualisation, Australia 2020 Summit at Parliament House on 19 and 20 April 2008, Top 100 Australian co-ops and mutuals and accounting standards.

The next teleconference meeting of the CCA will be in April 2008.
