The Co-operative Council of Australia meeting on 24 July 2007 agreed that education was an important issue for the Council.

It was agreed that education would be on the agenda for the Council's next meeting.

The meeting included representatives from the Federations of NSW, Queensland, SA, Victoria and Co-operativesWA.
