Co-operatives Australia has written to the Australian Prime Minister, the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP, supporting the call by the Board of the international Co-operative alliance (ICA) to each of the G20 governments, that the G20 at its meeting in April 2009 in London examine every option in seeking to overcome the current financial crisis, and asking that they give serious consideration to the advantages of the co-operative model of business.
